It's nice to get home after a trip. Do you remember the final lines in The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy keeps saying, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home?" Most of us feel the same way. We love that place called home.
But did you know that you're not really home? The Bible says that we are sojourners and pilgrims or nomads in this world. Your real lasting home awaits you in the future Kingdom of God.
Do you know about that coming kingdom? It's a wonderful home in the family of God that won't be scarred by conflict and pain but instead peace that will last for eternity.
The good news is that you can be a part of that enduring home—the household of God. Get out your Bible, learn about it, and prepare now by choosing to live His way today!
Dorothy wanted to get back to Kansas but you should seek that wonderful permanent homeland in the Kingdom of God—for there truly is no place like home.
