Just about everyone enjoys playing video games. One of my favorites is a racing game. You can choose your car, the driver and racecourse. Step on the gas and you’re ready to roll.
Do you know what's the best part of the game? No matter what comes to pass, the game always restores you. No matter what happens, you can start all over again.
Whenever you crash and burn, fall apart, or splash into the ocean, the game always picks you up, puts you back together and places you back on road - ready to move on down the highway.
Now if you think about it, that's the way it is with God. He's is faithful to forgive you and to restore you when you mess up and promises to get you back on the highway.
The Bible tells us that "after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation." (1 Peter 5:10 NLT)
